Reviews for Thong Kee Cafe Sea Park
Review highlights
Based on 3,680 reviewsThong Kee Cafe Sea Park is widely appreciated for its flavorful pork noodle soup, well-balanced char kuey teow, and satisfying breakfast offerings such as soft boiled eggs and kaya toast. Reviewers frequently highlight the quality of the food, noting fresh ingredients and distinct local flavors, though some mention minor areas for improvement like the broth in prawn noodles and rice seasoning in chicken rice. The cafe is recognized for its efficient service despite high customer volume, with staff managing queues and orders effectively. Additionally, the friendly ambiance and attentive service contribute positively to the overall dining experience, making it a popular spot for both locals and visitors seeking authentic Malaysian breakfast and coffee.
One of my favorite places now to have a pork noodle soup - meaty and not too heavy on MSG. The char kuey teow is good - not too oily and spicy with plenty of charcoal. The chicken rice has good flavored chicken, but the rice is a bit bland.
8/5/2025 update Good as usual The broth of the prawn noodles needs slight improvement, same goes to the portion as well. As an Ipoh-ian, Ipoh white coffee is definitely the best. However, Thong Kee Cafe is always my first stop once I reach KL from Ipoh in the morning. The drinks are always on standard and good if compare to certain restaurants around. The soft boiled egg and kaya toast never disappoint me too.
Apart from their signature toast and eggs, the chee cheong fun here is a must-try !Tasty, with fresh ingredients. The lady boss is friendly and lovely too!
Need to queue up but it is undoubtedly a good system. Can be very busy. Many staff and they serve fast considering the amount of diners and takeaways. I had to remind my food this time but I guess there were really a lot of orders before me. Their chicken rice is steam chicken with fried garlic made to the taste I like, so it's worth the wait. You should go for their signature 1+1, it's like cham more kaw. Today I tried their fried prawn mee and also their kaya butter toast. My husband likes the noodle a lot. Bread was better than average toast.
